Well I imagine that he fought Loki right before he went on to become an emperor or a little after.

If he is an antagonist (redeemable) I don't think he's going to be the main antagonist for the arc.

That he was part of the warrior groups. I wouldn't put it passed Oda to omit that Shanks was involved in his capture.
Since we know that this is his territory, and Shanks had the Nika fruit. Luffy seems to imply that Loki's pretty strong.
So it's not that far of a reach.

Looks like I was right Shanks does have a lot to do with Loki. As well as about the seastone

I can see Shanks potentially being the one that imprisoned Loki, fits his pacifists nature

Also Loki, insulting Shanks in front of Luffy? There are less painful ways to meet your maker sir

Also I knew the hint meant the Robin bangs are back! Life is good.

It’s still so crazy to me Loki is the one man Lola wouldn’t marry. Really wonder where Oda is going with this character. He claims to be the Sun God, and he stole a legendary devil fruit. I honestly hope the DF he took isn’t just some Norse lore based fruit and instead something unique to OP.

Still, he’s worth 2.5B, Big Mom thought an alliance with him and the giants would secure One Piece for her, he thinks Shanks is a chicken, and it took all of the top warriors to secure him. At this point it sounds like him allying with Luffy may be necessary given what we’ve seen of Imu and the Elders.

I like that there’s still Yonko level threats in the world.

I wanted to believe it from the hint but dared not say it out loud. Robin with glasses already made Elbaf 10/10, bangs+glasses makes this 11/10 easily already
