Charismatic actor Ryan Eggold first explored his love of acting while attending theater camp as a youngster. Though many other kids participated in the program purely for fun, for Eggold, the experience was formative. He would follow his interest in performance all the way to the University of Southern California, where he graduated with a degree from the theater arts program in 2006. At first honing his craft on stage, Eggold wowed audiences with a starring role in a production of Sidney Kingsley's Pulitzer Prize-winning "Dead End" at the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles. Before long, the young actor found himself landing his first on-screen role, a small part on an episode of the series "Related" (WB, 2005-06). Eggold was so nervous the night before he began shooting that he broke out into hives. Soon however, regular on-screen appearances became de rigueur for Eggold. He appeared on shows like "Brothers & Sisters" (ABC, 2006-2011) and "Dirt" (ABC, 2007-08) and even directed his own short film, "Literally, Right Before Aaron" (2011). During this time, Eggold was also singing, playing piano and guitar for the band Eleanor Avenue. Actor Jocko Sims made his acting debut in 2004 in an episode of "Cold Case" (CBS, 2003-2010). In 2008 Sims was cast in "Crash"(Starz, 2008-09) as Anthony Adams. His character, an aspiring hip-hop artist performs a live song in the show's third episode, and the song from the episode "Head Up", was released as a single on iTunes. That same year Sims starred in "Something Is Killing Tate" (2008), a feature film. In 2010 Sims was cast in an episode of the crime procedural "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-). In 2012 he appeared in another crime procedural, "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-). In 2014 Sims was cast in "Masters of Sex" (Showtime, 2013-16) as Robert Franklin, a civil rights activist. In 2014 Sims appeared in the blockbuster action movie "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" (2014). In 2014 he was also cast in the series "The Last Ship"(TNT, 2014-). He was a recurring character in the first season and was promoted to a lead character in the show's second season. In 2016 Sims was cast in '70s-set "I'm Dying Up Here" (Showtime, 2017-). In 2018 it was announced that Sims would be joining the cast of "New Amsterdam" (NBC, 2018-) a medical drama.

Born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada in 1978, Tyler Labine and his brothers Cameron and Kyle hijacked the family video camera and began making movies before they reached double digits. They soon sought professional representation, and quickly turned their hobby into a profession. The family moved to Vancouver in 1991 and Labine began to find himself in high demand. His first onscreen credit came in 1991, with a guest role on the Canadian legal drama "Street Legal" (CBC, 1987-1994). Once started, Labine didn't rest. Ever. He appeared in guest spots on Canadian staples "Road to Avonlea" (CBC, 1990-96), and "Are You Afraid of the Dark" (YTV, Nickelodeon 1992-96, 1999-2000), as well as shows like "The Commish" (ABC, 1991-96) and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" (ABC, 1996-2000; The WB, 2000-03), which were made for American audiences. In 1997, Labine appeared in his first series regular role, on the show "Breaker High" (YTV, 1997-98) about students attending high school on a cruise ship. The show was also the series regular debut for a young Ryan Gosling. Labine's first stateside series regular role came in 2001, when he starred in the short-lived "Dead Last" (The WB, 2001), about a band that finds an amulet, which allows them to communicate with ghosts. Mike Doyle's characters tend to meet grisly ends. His first breakout role, convict Adam Guenzel on the HBO prison series "Oz," ended with a gang rape and then death by electrocution after he tried to escape over the prison fence. On "Oz," Doyle collaborated with Christopher Meloni, with whom he soon worked again on the procedural drama "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." Doyle didn't play one of the victims; he was SVU's forensics technician, so he probably thought he was relatively safe this time out. Unfortunately, death followed Doyle into the lab, as well. It's an experience to which he's become accustomed to after, among other things, being shot, strangled, blown up, and burnt to death on projects such as the TV movie "Bella Mafia" (a crime revenge story) and the short-lived series "Smith" (tracking a crew of thieves headed by Ray Liotta). Fortunately for Doyle's career, no matter how many times they kill him, he's demonstrated the requisite talent to keep on coming back for more. Steering clear of violent ends, he went on to supporting parts in the melancholy drama "Rabbit Hole," the superhero flick "Green Lantern," and the New York City-set indie "Union Square."
